Originally designed by Wyatt C. Hedrick in 1938, the world renowned architect constructed other recognized structures including the Shamrock Hotel in Houston, The Baker Hotel in Mineral Wells, Will Rogers Memorial Center and First National Bank in Fort Worth, Corrigan Tower and Mosaic in Dallas and several other schools and businesses across the country.
